Privacy & cookies
Last updated: 25 May 2026.
Tirkiz displays publicly available sea-quality data. This notice explains what data we process, whether we use cookies, and what your rights are. For any privacy questions, write to [email protected].
Data controller
The controller of personal data within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR is:
- Trade name: VGLOGIX

Accounts and on-device data
Tirkiz requires no registration and keeps no user accounts. Your saved beaches and preferences live solely in your browser’s local storage — they are never sent to us and never leave your device, and you can clear them by clearing your browser data.
Site delivery and technical logs
The site is served by Cloudflare (a content-delivery network). Like any web server, Cloudflare processes standard technical logs — IP address, browser type and access time — for security and abuse prevention. We do not use this data to identify individuals.
Cookies and advertising
On beach pages we show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may set and read cookies and use device identifiers to serve ads and measure their performance. Personalised ads may be based on your prior browsing.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we display Google’s consent management prompt before such cookies are set, where you can accept or reject personalised advertising. You can change your choice at any time, and you can further manage advertising via the links below.

Third parties
- Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited) — ad serving and related cookies.
- Cloudflare — site delivery and traffic protection.
The sea-quality data comes from IZOR (the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries); that data is public and contains no personal information about you.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Send requests to [email protected].
